`If measures to immediately stop Israeli attacks in the Gaza Strip fall into a deadlock, it is likely that many other fronts will be opened,` Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian warned on June 16.

Foreign Minister Amir-Abdollahian also warned that if Israeli forces decide to enter Gaza, protest forces will turn this area into a `graveyard` for Israeli soldiers.

During his trip to the region, Iran’s Foreign Minister met with the political leader of Hamas, Ismail Hanieyh, in Qatar, where he rallied other Muslim countries in support of Palestine and assured that Iran would continue its efforts

`The Islamic Republic of Iran will never abandon its principles and values in support of the Palestinian state,` Mr. Amir-Abdollahian declared.

Previously, Mr. Amirabdollahian warned that a `new front` targeting Israel in the conflict with Hamas could open, depending on Israel’s actions.

In an effort to resolve the Gaza crisis, Foreign Minister Amir-Abdollahian also discussed the `sensitive situation in the region` with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi.

Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi began phone calls with many Muslim leaders on October 15, sounding the alarm about the situation in Gaza and calling on the Arab League and other international organizations

Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei also spoke to Muslim countries, calling on them to help the Palestinians.

The United States has dispatched a second aircraft carrier strike group to the eastern Mediterranean, seeking to put pressure on Iran, Lebanon’s Hezbollah force and other pro-Palestinian forces to avoid involvement in the war between Israel and Hamas.

The Wall Street Journal reported that Iranian security officials helped plan the surprise attack by Hamas and gave the green light for the attack.

Although US media speculated about the possibility that Iran was involved in the recent unprecedented attack by Hamas forces on Israel, President Joe Biden still admitted that `at this time` there is `no evidence`

Fighters from the Iran-backed Hamas armed force entered Israel from the Gaza Strip early on the morning of October 7 under the support of thousands of rockets.

Israel has declared total war and warned that it will punish Hamas like never before.

Iran, which does not recognize Israel and has made support for Palestine a centerpiece of its foreign policy since the 1979 Islamic Revolution, was one of the first countries to praise the Hamas attack.
