Barty won the Australian Open for the first time

A cross-court forehand when the opponent was coming to the net helped Barty win the first Grand Slam of the year.

Collins was the first player to win more than four games in a set against Barty.

Barty won the Australian Open for the first time in Melbourne on January 29.

Six matches on the way to the final, Barty lost only 21 games.

Barty started the match with his familiar almighty style, while Collins maintained his position thanks to his straight and fast shots.

Few people expected Barty to have so many difficulties in the second set, but this was not the first time Collins lost the first set.

Collins suddenly won the first return game in set two, opening up a chance to go upstream.

With nothing left to lose, Barty risked heavy and deep shots in the seventh game, and won a return game.

With the psychological advantage and the support of the home crowd, Barty equalized and won in the tie-break.

Collins was booed at one point when she questioned the referee.

With three Grand Slam titles, Barty equals the achievements of Lindsay Davenport, Jennifer Capriati or Angelique Kerber.
