According to the division results, Alcaraz can meet Nadal in the quarterfinals, and meet Novak Djokovic in the semi-finals.

`Playing at home is not easy,` Alcaraz added.

Nadal, the third seed, believes that he is not in the best shape after six weeks of recovery.

The record holder of 21 Grand Slams said he was not surprised by Alcaraz’s success.

World number one tennis player Novak Djokovic does not think too far ahead about the possibility of meeting Nadal or Alcaraz in the semi-finals.

Djokovic, Nadal and Alcaraz are in the top 8 seeds of the Madrid Open and are exempt from playing in the first round.
