Completing 52 laps on home turf with a time of 1 hour 21 minutes 8.452 seconds, Lewis Hamilton finished first at Silverstone for the sixth time.

Hamilton has had seven wins through 10 races of the 2019 F1 season.

This result is within the expectations of experts.

Thanks to the appearance of the safety car, Hamilton had the opportunity to definitely take first place in a race where teammate Bottas tried very hard.

Competing on his home track, it seemed that Hamilton would start in the familiar leading position.

Although he could not pass Bottas at the start, Hamilton followed his teammate closely throughout the first three laps.

After this situation, the competition between the two Mercedes drivers gradually cooled.

At the back, Leclerc and Verstappen closely followed each other in an attempt to compete for third place.

When the tire change was finished on lap 13, the two were almost parallel, Verstappen inching up a bit, but Leclerc refused to lose.

Right behind, Vettel also has to focus on dealing with another Red Bull driver, the young talent Pierre Gasly.

By round 20, Antonio Giovinazzi’s (Alfa Romeo team) accident at Vale corner caused the safety car to be deployed to move the C38 out of the competition area.

Upon returning to the track, Hamilton retained the lead while Vettel settled in third place ahead of Leclerc and Verstappen.

Winning at home with 26 points helped Hamilton move 39 points ahead of the next group.

Meanwhile, the order in the following group continuously reversed.

The sharp and fierce defense caused Vettel, who was running at high speed  and could not react in time, to ram straight into the rear of the RB15.
