Zhou Qunfei once had to drop out of school and work as a factory worker, but now has a net worth of more than $8 billion.

Ms.  Zhou officially became the world’s richest self-made female billionaire in the Forbes rankings last March out of a total of 56 existing self-made female billionaires globally.

At age 47, Ms. Zhou is also the youngest self-made female billionaire on the Forbes list.

The New York Times said she was born in a small village in China.

The world’s richest self-made female billionaire came from a humble background raising pigs and ducks and working as a worker.

At the age of 16, she was forced to quit school to work to help her family.

`I had to work from 8 a.m. to 12 midnight, sometimes even until 2 a.m. the next morning,` Ms. Zhou recounted.

At the age of 22, she decided to quit her job to start a career.

Although her company was still growing steadily, it wasn’t until she decided to switch to producing phone glass that her career really took a turn.

After that, her company received orders from HTC, Nokia and Samsung.

However, it is not easy for Apple to find and it is even harder to retain these customers.

In an interview with the Times, the female billionaire said that in the village where she was born, it was a luxury for girls to have a good education.
