Ancelotti: ‘I would walk to Saudi Arabia if I received 500 million euros’

On December 7, Rahm confirmed that he will compete in the LIV Golf League – a golf tournament system owned by the Saudi Public Investment Fund (PIF), despite being an A-list star of the PGA Tour.

During the press conference before the match against Betis in round 16 of La Liga, when asked about Rahm suddenly quitting the PGA Tour, Ancelotti replied: `I will walk to Saudi Arabia if I receive 500 million euros. Don’t book a plane ticket for me.`

Coach Ancelotti directed during the match: Real Madrid beat Napoli 4-2 in round five of Group C Champions League on November 29.

The Italian coach’s answer made everyone in the press conference room laugh.

After Cristiano Ronaldo arrived at Al Nasr, many stars and football coaches went to Saudi Arabia to work.

After that, the 64-year-old coach informed about Real’s personnel situation before today’s away match against Betis.

When asked about Jude Bellingham’s ability to play, Ancelotti replied: `He has been training in the gym to take care of his ankle after his injury in the match against Napoli. Regarding the shoulder problem, Bellingham must undergo treatment.`

Bellingham dislocated his shoulder in a 0-0 draw with Rayo Vallecano in early November and has had to wear a protective brace since then.

Ancelotti did not deny this possibility, but said Bellingham is feeling fine and does not need surgery.

Ancelotti said his players rested, recovered and were able to prepare best because they did not have to play midweek.
