Ancelotti is optimistic about his chances of winning against Man City in the second leg

`What I wanted was to gain a small advantage after the first leg, but we have to be satisfied with this result,` Carlo Ancelotti said after the 3-3 draw at the Bernabeu with Man City.

Ancelotti admitted that he did not expect Bernardo Silva to kick a direct free kick into a tight corner to open the score for Man City in the second minute.

Regarding the two goals lost in the second half, Ancelotti said that they were inevitable goals.

In attack, the Real coach prided himself on causing surprise by arranging Vinicius and Rodrygo to play on the left wing.

Real will be without Aurelien Tchouameni in the second leg.

Real coach called on fans to cheer enthusiastically when they visit Etihad next week.

`The field is the same, and we only have a disadvantage on the fans’ side,` Ancelotti said about the second leg.

Real had the advantage of playing at home to the Bernabeu in the first leg, but it was Man City who started better.

However, Man City still showed why they won the championship last season.

On April 17, the two teams will play the return leg at Etihad.
