Grand Canyon National Park, located in the state of Arizona, USA, is nearly 5,000 square kilometers wide and is one of the most visited landscapes in the world.

Road to the Grand Canyon

Visitors can come to the Grand Canyon from four different directions, but the most convenient is from the south because there are forests, streams, charming scenery and convenient transportation.

The southern arc of the Grand Canyon, located at an altitude of 2,100 m, is a national nature reserve established by the 26th President of the United States Theodore Roosevelt in 1908. This is a tourist destination.

The North Rim of the Grand Canyon is about 300 m higher than the south, so it is colder.

At the South Rim of the Grand Canyon, visitors can buy tickets to ride the ancient Grand Canyon Train built in the early 20th century, enjoy breakfast while admiring the view of the great canyon in the chilly morning atmosphere.

If you like a bit of adventure and being close to nature, visitors can explore the Grand Canyon with a hike, long or short depending on their walking ability, along trails such as the South Kaibab Trail or Bright.

If you are patient and book a few months in advance, you can try the feeling of riding Mules along steep trails, like the Americans of the West in the past.

And finally, it is hard to describe the strange feeling when visitors reach the destination of their journey, at the bottom of the great abyss, to dip their heels into the cool green water all year round.

However, for many tourists, perhaps visiting the West Rim is a more suitable option because this arc is only 3 hours away from Las Vegas.

This project is named Skywalk (sky walk) because visitors walking on this transparent glass-bottomed bridge can see a panoramic view of the great abyss with the blue Colorado River and birds fluttering below their feet.

However, to satisfy tourists who want to experience the feeling of floating on the Colorado water but do not want their feet caught in `pink dust`, there are tours to explore the Grand Canyon by helicopter and small plane.
